Project Outcome

The outcome of this project will be an approach to peer assessment that is closely aligned to industry approaches to performance assessment.Students who undertake the proposed program will develop skills in appraising their peers' performance in group settings. As a result of this process a series of resources for applying this approach to peer assessment will be created for a range of generic attributes deemed to be essential for effective performance in group projects.

Project Methodology

This grant will analyse and evaluate industry practices in performance management and adapt industry best practice to classroom teaching contexts. The resources and guidelines developed for this project will be tested in multiple university settings to ensure trouble free implementation in a range of Business Management subjects. The process will be comprehensively documented to allow dissemination of this approach to self- and peer-assessment to other contexts.
