Project Outcome
This project will implement foreign language learning strategies to assist students in science to learn more effectively. It will create innovative online language oriented activities and a student-centred interactive face to face lecturing environment to implement these strategies.
Project Methodology
The design of the project protocols will be developed through collaboration among all stakeholders. These include a specialist in language learning, science subject specialists who are also e-learning developers and students. Team members’ wide knowledge of research into computer-based learning, linguistic, language learning and empirical research in science, and pedagogical research and practice in education contributed to the design of the project. In the design process and in the implementation itself, a student centred evaluative approach will be emphasised. The project will follow a rigorous management plan with defined milestones for project deliverables.
