Project Outcome
The proposed project will disseminate the previously developed web-based 360 degree academic leadership tool and the linked professional development workshops to the whole of the university sector.
This resource will be an ongoing support tool for universities concerned with the development of academic leadership in academic coordinators. As a web based tool, integration with leadership projects will be relatively easy.
Project Methodology
The proposed project will result in long-term change in the sector as the capabilities to develop academic leadership are embedded in both staff assigned with development responsibilities and in academic staff who choose to participate in the development initiatives.

- Gaining the support of the DVC (Academic), Director of HR and Teaching and Learning units in each of the participating universities;
- Ensuring the development process is embedded in policy and procedures; 3) Making the following available across the sector: 1) the previously developed 360° feedback web-based tool; 2) the supporting resources for this feedback tool;
- the materials and design of the professional development workshops;
- The development and support of staff within each institution who have the responsibility for the development of academic leadership;
- A website providing access to the framework, resources and guidelines for implementation to assist long-term change.
