An engineering teacher dedicated to the success of his students was awarded the Australian higher education’s most prestigious prize, the Prime Minister’s Award for Australian University Teacher of the Year, in a ceremony at Old Parliament House on Tuesday.
Associate Professor Mahfuz Aziz of the University of South Australia received the accolade at the Australian Learning and Teaching Council's Australian Awards for University Teaching ceremony where the award was presented by the Minister for Employment Participation and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Government Service Delivery, Senator The Hon Mark Arbib.
