The ALTC is hosting an Assessment Forum at the University of South Australia on 19 November 2008. The forum will allow team
team members to share resources, ideas and expertise related to assessment and form collegial networks to disseminate the
findings of their projects. Attendance at the Assessment Forum is by invitation only.
The Program, Teaching, Prime Minister's and Career Achievement Awards will be presented at the 2008 Awards Ceremony in Canberra
on Tuesday, 25 November 2008.
The Leading Change Symposium will be held in Sydney on 27-28 November 2008. The Symposium will bring together discipline-based teaching and learning leaders
to identify common priorities to be considered by the ALTC in 2009-2011. See the Leading Change Symposium page for further information.
A conference about managing student grievances and discipline matters in universities will be held in Byron Bay on 4-5 December
2008. This event will be of interest to universities, government agencies and other organisations and individuals involved
in adjudicating, resolving or managing grievances, disputes and appeals involving university students throughout Australia.
The conference will present findings from an ALTC project being conducted by researchers from Southern Cross University, University

The FYE Curriculum Symposium is an outcome of Professor Sally Kift's ALTC Senior Fellowship project. The Symposium
