Funding for Award recipients to present at conferences

This initiative provides funding for recipients of AAUT and Teaching and Program Awards to present at discipline, research-based, learning and teaching conferences and forums.

Funding is in the form of sponsorship to support Award recipients to present on their teaching in the discipline or category of their award. Funding of up to $3000 is available to contribute towards conference costs, for Award recipients who are a featured presenter, such as registration, travel, accommodation and incidental costs, and publicity and promotional material for the conference. This sponsorship aims to:

• Raise the profile and encourage recognition of the fundamental importance of teaching in higher education institutions and in the general community
• Foster and acknowledge excellent teaching in higher education.

Applications must be made by the organisers of the conference or forum.
